Testimonials"I only wish I had known about Mountaincrest before I spent time and money in other places. My experience here is like going to a private, luxurious hotel or country club. Each person gives so much personal attention to me and I feel so pampered. Most of all, I feel great and recommend Mountaincrest to my doctors." Deanna Rushing ![]() "I have had a stroke for the second time. My doctor sent me here for therapy. I have enjoyed myself very much. Everyone here is real nice and helpful. I have relearned to walk much better than I could at first. I was weak, and turned blind some of the time.
I have really come a long way since I have been receiving my treatment here. Thank you." Mer. "I love all of the attention I received while at Mountaincrest. They are very helpful and serious about my problem, always friendly and attentive to all my needs." All "When I first came to your rehab center, my back caused me so much that after taking a shower I had to sit down and rest my back before I could even shave. I could not go on any trips where I had to do any walking, I could not even walk one-half block before rehab. The first week of rehab I thought, 'I can't do this!' However, I decided to stick it out for one more week and I am so glad I did. By the second week, I had already noticed a great improvement. Every week I improved! Words cannot express the change in me or my lifestyle. I can walk without pain, my wife and I have bought that we are riding bicycles and we are going on trips. She cannot believe the difference in me. She says that I am like a changed man. Guys, again you have changed my life! You have eliminated my pain and gave me another chance to enjoy my retirement years. My wife wants to send you her 'Thanks'." Jack Cox ![]() "Thank goodness for Mountaincrest Rehab. The time had come to realize that my independence was in the past, due to injuries and health problems (spinal curvature following compression fracture); abnormal heart rhythm (arrhythmia) requiring insertion of pace maker; neurological problems with balance, posture, coordination, comprehension and memory following a stroke; and arthritis - all of which serve to make me an awkward, slow moving accident prone "humpback old woman! And the doctor ordered NO DRIVING until improvement permits, which spelled unemployment since I work in Real Estate sales where driving is a must. Being dependent, helpless and without positive hope is discouraging, and I feel guilty for being dependent on others. But, therapy has been helpful - so thank goodness for Mountaincrest with available therapy offering relief, encouragement for improvement and Hope! For this and for the cheerful positive attitude I am grateful, and look forward to being there two days each week. Now that I am part of the Silver Sneakers wellness program I am able to benefit from all the services Mountaincrest offers." Nancy Barron "I'm so glad my doctor sent me to Mountaincrest Rehab for therapy. I went there in pain and was met with kindness, patience and real professionalism. I was in good hands. Three weeks later, I left with no pain thinking how much I would miss all those wonderful people. Yet only a while later, they helped me sign up for their wellness and fitness program and I look forward to it each week. Their facility is great with lots of good, clean equipment and ready help if needed. I must say I'm feeling stronger each day and life seems more fun and oh, yes, I still get to see the same friendly faces from my therapy days, and I'm grateful to each and everyone of them." Norma Koch "I am an 82 year old white female in good physical condition. In the last two years, I have been going Mountaincrest Rehabilitation Center in Harrison, AR for physical therapy after surgery on both rotator cuffs and pain in my hips. The therapists there are wonderful. They have a wonderful program. They work one on one with you and explain exactly what they are doing, how they are doing it and why, and what results they expect. They also teach you what not to do. They teach you exercises that are effective. They explain exercises to do at home and give you guidelines, which are very helpful. Each therapist knows exactly what the other therapist is doing so they can continue with your program if one is absent. I hope I don't have to use them again, but if I do, I will gladly travel the 32 miles each way to get their help." Constance Cole "In early March of 2007, I began to have severe neck and shoulder and by April the pain had extended to my ears and head. X-rays revealed that from C3 down it was bone on bone and surgery would not be an option. In May, I elected to come to Mountaincrest Rehab for Physical Therapy and it turned out to be the best decision for me. With the care and guidance provided by the excellent staff at Mountaincrest I am virtually pain free and the unexpected cardiovascular benefits I have realized are awesome. My blood pressure medications have been cut by 50% and I feel 100% better than I have in 2 or 3 years. If you are suffering from back, neck, shoulder or pain from any extremity I would strongly recommend the great staff at Mountaincrest." Leon Burlsworth "I was using the Mountaincrest facility for physical conditioning and noticed a brochure in the reception area about a procedure called Anodyne, which was for numb and hurting feet. I had this problem, so I asked my doctor about it. He wrote me a prescription for the procedure and in about two weeks I started seeing an improvement and after a month I had greatly improved. I would recommend this procedure for anybody who has this condition." GAM "My back is 100% better and my shoulder is very close to that. I am very glad I came here for therapy. All of the staff is a very kind and considerate at all times. They are very professional and helpful. They have showed me how to keep doing exercises at home to keep my shoulder. Thank you for helping me." Jim E. Pennington |
